Ronnie Vest - Crochet Pattern

Looking for a perfect layering piece that you can wear year round? Look no further! The Ronnie Vest will be the focal point of any outfit. Try it over shorts and a tank in the summer, or paired with your favorite jeans and long sleeve tee in the fall.
This pattern works up quickly, despite using such light yarn. (Please note, Ravelry classifies Ombre Life as a sport weight, you may also sub a 2 weight so long as you can meet gauge).
Pattern is written for sizes XS (S, M, L) XL (2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL), which are based on bust measurements of 30 (34, 38, 42) 46 (48, 54, 58, 62) inches. The pattern length can be adjusted to make your vest longer - this will require additional yardage.
Yardage required: Lion Brand Ombre Life 2 (2, 2, 3) 3 (3, 4, 4, 4, 4) balls or 530 (700, 870, 1020) 1150 (1300, 1500, 1650, 1750) yards sport weight yarn
This piece is worked flat, with the front panels crocheted directly onto the back panel. Minimal seaming is required at the shoulders.
Please note, the larger sizes are written to be longer, but instructions to customize length are given.
