Owl Creme Egg Cosies

Overview

Cute Owl Creme Egg Cosies that conceal a creme or similar sized chocolate egg in their tummies. The can also be used as regular egg cosies if, like me, you’re lover of boiled eggs.

The pattern provides instructions for knitting flat and seaming and for knitting in the round.

Size

One size: to fit a creme or similar egg e.g. Lindt Lindor etc. or chicken egg

Yarn & Gauge

28 – 33 yards (26 – 30 m) of any DK weight yarn
worked to a gauge of 22 stitches and 38 rows = 10 cm x 10cm / 4 x 4 inches in Stocking Stitch

Needles & Material

3.25mm (US3) needles – dpns for working in the round or any needles if working flat.
