Black Mountain Haiku by Lev Hart
“Black Mountain Haiku sets a new standard for excellence in the realm of concrete poetry. This small collection by Lev Hart accomplishes the difficult task of balancing poetic content and form in a way that feels natural and effortless, proving that sometimes the best things come in small packages.”
— Bryan Rickert, Editor of Failed Haiku
About the Author:
Lev Hart, having completed his seventy-first orbit around the sun, has grown impatient with the mothership. He bides the time by co-editing Poetry Pea and facilitating haiku workshops at Triveni Haikai India. Last year, his verses won the HIA 77th Basho Memorial English Haiku Contest, the 15th Yamadera Basho Memorial Museum English Haiku Contest, and second place in The Haiku Society of America’s Senryu Award. Lev and his beloved intend to emigrate from Canada to cyberspace.
