It’s a crisp winter morning and, as the sun brightens the sky, you wake up to find lacy snowflakes drifting outside your window. This simple, but elegant lace pattern looks stunning in gradients, solids, and semi-solids.

Early Morning Flurries is an asymmetrical triangular shawl knit on the bias from one tip to the opposite edge. The number of ‘snowflakes’ increases slowly along with the width of the shawl.

Gauge is not critical for this pattern, but using a different yarn weight or needle size will affect the size of the finished shawl.

The pattern is both written and charted.
