Tilting cables twine across the Disconnect Shawl, framing stretches of reverse stockinette stitch that interrupt the cushy 2x2 ribbing. On the cables’ other side, the ribbing resumes its journey across the shawl’s surface.

The asymmetrical shape of the shawl makes it easy to use up all of one’s yarn. This fun cabling project will make an attention-grabbing shawl with lots of snuggly warmth.

Gauge is not critical for this pattern, but using a different yarn weight or needle size will affect the size of the finished shawl.

The instructions are both written and charted.
