So very simple to knit, yet so very dramatic to wear, this poncho takes full advantage of a lovely gradient pack, while being the perfect social knitting project.

Beginning at the bottom (with, yes, a lot of stitches), you will work your way up to the collar while you work your way through most of a gradient pack of 1000 yards (or alternate between two skeins of gradient fingering weight yarn, then add 200 more yards at the top). Finished off with a Garter Stitch collar and buttonholes worked as you go, you’ll be flaunting this poncho in no time.

Features
  • Excellent use of a gradient pack or 1000 yards of your favorite fingering weight yarn
  • Easy to knit
  • Don’t forget some fabulous buttons to show off on the collar - double them up to show off two different buttons by sewing them together (like cufflinks)
