Double Vanilla

Hiking socks, bed socks, welly socks, taking the dog for a walk when it's freezing cold socks, there are times when you just can't beat a good thick sock. These toe-up socks are a plain design with a heel flap and gusset construction and knit in DK yarn. The heel is turned with German short rows.
There is a sister pattern Sporty Vanilla, written for sports weight yarn. Buy them both at the same time for a reduced price of £7 GBP
Sizes - measured around mid-foot
Small and Medium should be able to use 100g of yarn, Large and X Large will more likely need 150g, though of course it is dependent on the length of the foot and the height of the sock.

This sock is essentially my free vanilla pattern, written at a different gauge. If you are comfortable using the worksheets or online calculators provided in that pattern to enable you to work in heavier yarn, then DO NOT buy this pattern, I don't want you to be disappointed.
