About the book
This book has been written to help you with different ideas on what to eat when suffering from PCOS.
I went through an ordeal with medical professionals in 2013 when I broke down with PCOS, no “doctor” told me what PCOS was, or what my hormones were doing, let alone what I had to eat now. Everything I saw it was upsetting my tummy and I was putting on weight!
You will have to take some time out to prepare these foods, however, if you set a Sunday afternoon aside to make these foods for the week it’s something that you will look forward to and can have a cheeky taste of them whilst making them - I know I do!
I have put together a list of my favourite snacks - that taste good and won’t affect your insulin levels (as this is known as the FAT STORAGE HORMONE) (You will learn to know that this causes us to put on weight!)
I have added easy recipes that you can your daily snacks. They are healthy and I hope will leave a smile on your face and most importantly feeling full. Just because we have PCOS, doesn't mean we are doomed to eat cardboard the rest of our lives!
NOTE: This is focusing on FOOD AS MEDICINE, please drop the labels - I’m vegan, vegetarian paleo etc - food is food!
