This book was so much fun to listen to, like a breath of fresh air, and I loved every minute of it!

These characters were so easy to fall in love with. Isaac Brady was a broody Brainiac bachelor whose family was well known for their Engineering firm and Nicole Kennedy this tough bad ass career minded woman who was respected in her industry but also a little rough around the edges.
Nicole’s natural way of being bossy drew Isaac “Zach” in and caused instant chemical reaction, actually more like lust between them. She was a spitfire and Zack loved it!
Usually, Nicole was tough as nails and liked to be in charge, but Zack had a way of putting her back in her place and she loved it.

This book is full of fun witty banter with plenty of spice and humor! I very much look forward to listening to the rest of the series. Lainey is a new to me author and so happy that I discovered her. Carly is one of my favorite female narrators and I loved her in the is book and Tom is also new to me but oh, his voice was sexy and perfect!
“That entire trip was the culmination of a lifetime of me not standing up to my father, of me not standing up for my ideas, whether that’s at work or in my personal life.” I reach for her hand again, drawn to her, and this time she lets me. When my fingers touch the soft, smooth skin of her wrist, I feel strength radiating through me. Just being near her, I feel more whole. I plow ahead. “I had a huge fight with my dad that next day, Nicole, and I came out of it in a totally new direction at work, in a totally new place. And as hard as it was to have that discussion with him, it feels one thousand times harder to open up to you and let you know how I feel.”

Very enjoyable

Nicole is my spirit animal! Love her! We are so like in so many ways. I’m not a person to finish a book in one day but this one was such a great read I couldn’t put it down.
