By now, you’ve likely noticed that “home” doesn’t always feel like home. The pace of life may feel fast. Conversations might seem shallow. Even simple tasks—grocery shopping, making plans, or attending church—can feel overwhelming or draining. These are all normal signs of reverse culture shock (see Appendix 2 for more).
