Whisper Swells

Having worked with Nicolaj's Iremia instruments previously, and so being hopeful of some further development along the lines of what he had already achieved, he's released this little gem of a library ...and it absolutely adds the immediacy (and soul food) he refers to in the introductory video.
It's a 'value offering' as far as string libraries go, and so isn't meant to, nor attempts to be your backbone string library. But what it does do, what Nicolaj has focused on, is just lovely.
The sound quality is excellent. There is real expressivity here 'right out of the box', and while not limitless, the ability to do some audio gain-shading and some cross-fading between its few sound sets within MIDI in your DAW (or within Unify 2.0 in my case) ...offers additional dynamic and expression range ...for the swell-sounds this string library is focused on. It's a welcome addition from the a la carte menu, not the buffet.
