While many students are taught to "Guess and Check" using the listing table method.

I will be teaching the students a smart guess table which is a combination of the listing and assumption methods that allows P3 students to start adapting and slowly learn the logic behind assumption in a more structured manner. Once they understand, in future, they will be able to do assumption method independently.

⚠️ A "Must-Know" Foundation for Primary 3

The Guess and Check method is a method taught as early as Primary 2 and 3.

If students rely solely on "random guessing" now, they will struggle with the harder questions in Upper Primary heuristics. Mastering this early ensures they can bridge the gap from simple listing to the faster way of Assumption Method to be used in PSLE-style questions.
