Construction & Progress Management Toolkit for Construction Projects
Product Description
The SCMA Construction & Progress Management Toolkit is an operational M6 Construction & Project Delivery control system for Project Managers, Construction Managers, PMCs, Consultants and Contractors who need to manage live site execution rather than rely only on periodic reporting.
The toolkit connects workfront readiness, short-interval look-ahead planning, daily and weekly physical progress, labour and plant signals, productivity, constraints, construction-meeting actions, trade interfaces, site decisions, corrective and recovery actions, and the controlled M6→M7 completion-readiness handoff.
It is designed to provide a practical site-management layer that turns construction information into owned actions, visible constraints, evidence-based progress status and decision-ready management outputs.

Key Benefits
· Control active, ready, at-risk and blocked workfronts through visible status and ownership.
· Measure daily output and weekly physical progress against defined operational targets.
· Track labour, plant and productivity signals without duplicating detailed cost-control systems.
· Identify and remove constraints through clear owners, due dates, mitigation actions and closure evidence.
· Use construction progress meetings as accountable coordination and corrective-action controls rather than discussion-only forums.
· Manage trade, spatial, access, sequence, design, material and information interfaces affecting site delivery.
· Track corrective and recovery actions and verify whether they are actually effective.
· Keep baseline, actual progress, look-ahead, forecast and recovery as separate management views.
· Preserve source evidence before summarizing progress into dashboards or management reports.
· Create a controlled M6→M7 handoff into the separate SCMA Closeout, Handover & Final Account Toolkit.
Important Control Boundary
M6 Construction & Project Delivery is a formal delivery stage. Progress percentages, workfront readiness, meeting actions, recovery plans and management dashboards do not by themselves create contractual completion, Taking-Over, certification, payment entitlement or formal project closure.
Likewise, M6→M7 completion readiness means that sufficient controlled evidence exists to begin formal closeout activities; it does not mean that handover, defects closure, final account or contractual closeout are already complete.
Product Boundary
P20 focuses on construction execution, workfront control, progress management and site coordination.
- P12 remains the technical Planning & Project Controls Review Pack.
- P06 remains the full Construction Project Reporting & Dashboard Pack.
- P19 handles detailed HSE audits, findings and corrective-action control.
- P09 handles formal closeout, handover, defects and final-account control.
P20 connects with these specialist products but does not replace them.
