Being a unicorn wasn't always sunshine and rainbows. Though, it was definitely a big part of the job! The days dragged on, tending to the forest, tending to the local animals, driving away annoying humans that got too close, and every day was something new and yet . . so repetitive? Being a guardian of the forest came with its perks, but it starts to lose it's charm after the tenth time you've settled a debate between the beavers and where they built their damn. Though, things changed when she saw the culprit of why the squirrels screamed in chatter, angry their tree had been snapped. The prettiest scales she had ever seen, glistening in the sunlight like a pile of rubies, sharp and stunning. When his eyes met hers, she felt her heart bloom with an rainbow of feelings.
She needed to know where he came from, and if he could bring some new variety in her life.
