#40 : Wrecked | A Shipwreck Survival Adventure for 2–3 Players
Your ship is on the rocks. The volcano is waking.
Something ancient is circling in the water. You have three days.
Wrecked is a zero-prep D&D 5e survival one-shot for 2–3 players, designed to run in 2–3 hours with no preparation required. Open the book and run it tonight.
A sea creature attacked your vessel in the night and drove it onto the rocks of a remote volcanic island. Supplies are gone. The hull is damaged. Captain Stoic Steve — a weathered sailor with an iron hook for a hand — is already working on repairs. He needs timber, food, and fresh water. You need to survive long enough to get them.
No Linear Path
The captain hands the players a map showing all six island locations — resource yields, threat levels, and a note about something large circling the water. Players choose where to go. Each morning a lava roll permanently removes locations from the map. The spot you skipped yesterday may be gone today. Every session plays differently because every group plans differently.
What you gather feeds directly into the final encounter. Enough timber and the ship holds. Enough food and your party enters at full strength. Enough water and your attacks land true. Short on any of them and you feel it when it matters most.
Then the Volcano Erupts
On Day Four the island tears itself apart. Push the ship off the rocks and get clear before the lava reaches the beach — then face the creature that wrecked you in the first place. Two special weapons hidden across the island can shift the odds. Whether you found them is on you.
