Flower Power Scrub is knit flat using short rows to create each petal of your flower. Once seamed together, your fun Flower Power Scrub is ready to use, gift, or sell at your next craft fair.

This project is suited for knitters who are comfortable with or who are open to learning the following skills and techniques:

Bind-off, long tail cast-on, knitting short rows, Mattress Stitch, wrap and turn

Materials

Yarn recommendations

Loops & Threads Squeaky Clean, fiber content: polyester 100%; 92 yards/85 meters; 3.5 oz/100 g, or similar yarn that knits to gauge.

Sample used 13 (22, 34) yards/12 (20, 31) meters; 0.5 (0.8, 1.3) oz/14 (23, 37) g; 1 ball. Small and Large in Cupid and Medium in Candy colorways. 

Knitting needles

US size 8/5 mm, or size used to match gauge - straight or circular as you prefer.

Notions

Locking stitch marker, scissors, tapestry needle.

Gauge

17 sts x 34 rows over 4"/10 cm in garter stitch worked flat.
