Madden’s K9 4-Session Obedience Training
Build Better Obedience. Improve Communication. Create Reliable Everyday Skills.
Build Better Obedience. Improve Communication. Create Reliable Everyday Skills.
Good obedience isn't just about whether your dog knows a command.
The real goal is building communication, consistency, impulse control, and reliable behaviors that carry over into everyday life.
Madden’s K9 4-Session Obedience Training is a structured one-on-one program designed to build your dog's foundation progressively rather than trying to fix everything in a single appointment.
Across four 60-minute sessions, we'll work through your dog's individual needs while building skills that become more reliable as distractions and real-world situations are introduced.
Your program may include:
Session 1: Foundation & Communication
Establish clear communication between you and your dog while evaluating current obedience and building foundational behaviors.
Session 2: Obedience & Impulse Control
Strengthen obedience while teaching your dog to remain focused and controlled around everyday distractions.
Session 3: Leash Skills & Distractions
Build better leash behavior, engagement, and responsiveness as the training environment becomes more challenging.
Session 4: Real-World Reliability
Combine the skills you've developed and apply them to practical situations while creating a plan for continued progress.
Four sessions give your dog time to learn, practice, make mistakes, improve, and progress.
Instead of receiving a list of commands and being sent home, you'll have multiple opportunities to build skills, address challenges, and learn how to continue the training between sessions.
4 Private 60-Minute Sessions
One-on-one training tailored to your dog.
Progressive Training
Each session builds on the skills developed previously.
Owner Coaching

Progress-Based Training
Training priorities can be adjusted as your dog develops and new challenges become apparent.
This program is designed for owners who want a structured approach to improving their dog's everyday obedience and are willing to practice between sessions.
It can be a good fit for dogs that need help with foundational obedience, impulse control, leash manners, focus, household manners, or general reliability.
For complex behavioral or significant safety concerns, an assessment or referral to an appropriately qualified professional may be recommended.
A dog may understand a command in one environment and completely forget it when distractions appear.
That's why this program is structured around progression.
We build the foundation first, strengthen the behavior, introduce distractions, and then work toward applying those skills in everyday situations.
You aren't just learning what to tell your dog.
You're learning how to help your dog understand, respond, and succeed.
After purchasing the program, you'll complete the General Training Intake Form. Once your intake is submitted, you'll be directed to Calendly to schedule your first 60-minute session.
