🍰 An homage to The Great British Baking Show, "Stark Baking Mad: The Great British Baking Shawl, Season 2" was written as a mystery knitalong, and the pdf is in "clue form". All clues (directions) are in the one pdf, as well as recipes for each clue, too--Enjoy, and On Your Mark, Get Set...Bake!
🍰 The shawl is designed for 1 Main Color with 2 colors that both contrast with that main color. CC1 and CC2 don’t really have to contrast with each other—you could use 2 different shades of blue, for example. Just make sure that CC1 and CC2 have enough contrast with the MC so that they stand out and don’t blend in—this project needs layers, not blends! Also, while you’ll use a bit more yardage of CC1, it really doesn’t stand out more than CC2.
🍰Materials:
2 skeins of Miss Babs Yummy 2-ply for the MC (400 yds/110 g, shown in Lace Murex), and
1 skein of Miss Babs Yummy 2-ply for CC1 (400 yds/110 g, shown in Tulipa), and
1 skein of Miss Babs Yummy 2-ply for CC2 (400 yds/110 g, shown in Dragonclaw), or approximately
680 yds of the MC in fingeringweight yarn,
310 yds of CC1 in fingeringweight yarn, and
270 yds of CC2 in fingeringweight yarn.
