FREE PDF - Holly Leaves & Berries Crochet Pattern

I designed this lovely little holly leaves and berries pattern because I wanted a quick and simple way to add a handmade touch to my Christmas gifts and decorations.

There’s something lovely about being able to make just a few little crochet pieces and use them in so many different ways. Add them to a wreath, use them to decorate a gift or Christmas table setting, or even use them to jazz up decorations you already have.

And, of course, once I’d made one little sprig of holly, I couldn’t resist making a few more… well, it is for Christmas!

This is a confident beginner pattern. You’ll need to be comfortable working UK double crochet, half treble, treble and slip stitches.

It’s also a great excuse to have a rummage through your yarn stash. Try different shades of green for the leaves, stick with traditional red berries or choose something completely different, and have fun mixing different yarns, hooks and textures to give each little sprig its own character.



Most importantly, don’t feel you have to make them all the same - have a play and see what you can create!
