+++This is a measure and cut pattern which means that there are NO TEMPLATES to print off and match up- Yay! You need a rotary cutter, ruler and mat and you can cut the pattern pieces straight from the fabric. This is easier than it sounds because the pieces are all simple squares and rectangles.

This pattern comes with an extra PDF to help you to identify the front pocket pieces. Please note that this is for illustration only and is not to scale. Not all of the components occur in every pattern and it is not specific to this particular pattern. It is only there to help .

When you buy this pattern, you have my permission to make this bag to sell- no mass production allowed of course but a few to sell at craft fairs or online, that sort of thing is fine. All I ask is that you credit me as the designer. I wish you all the success in the world with sales!

This pattern now comes with a handy printable sheet of labels to help you to keep track of the pattern pieces.

All measurements are in INCHES.

Every good bag collection needs a mini grab-and-go bag which holds only the essentials. And I mean essentials – I have designed this one to take a wallet, your keys, phone and some really small other things like an item of makeup or a cloth for cleaning glasses and maybe a fold up shopping bag for a quick and unexpected market visit. I love the fact that it is light and simple and yet it seems to hold most of the things that go into my big bag. Except the kitchen sink. You will have trouble with that. It fits neatly across the body and I actually wear mine under my jacket, especially when I am in the city. So it is secure too.
Best of all, this is the first in a special collection that I am calling the Mini Series – small bags which give you everything that you need in a small package.

Pattern Rating: intermediate sewist with some knowledge assumed. Some bits are a bit fiddly but they are not actually difficult. Go slow and don’t forget that there are tutes on my blog to explain more if you need extra help – zipper box pockets and things like that. Just look out for the links as we need them.

Finished Size: 4 ¼” wide x 7” tall x 1 ½” deep
