I created this collection in memory of my sister, who recently passed away from stage four breast cancer. I wanted her to know how much she was loved, and be comfortable and cozy. I can think of no better way to accomplish this than to wrap someone in squishy hand knits.
This hat is part of the Goodbye, Sleep Jean Collection. It is a slouchy beanie, worked from the bottom to the crown in a warm, squishy honeycomb stitch.
One skein, (100g/382 yards) Mount Olympus Dye Works Athena Sock MCN in the Rosie’s
Hips colorway.
22 stitches and 32 rows in 4” (10cm) after blocking in Honeycomb Stitch.
Final hat measures 10” wide by 9” tall when laid flat.
