A bold large-format dragon embroidery design created for direct embroidery on black or very dark fabric, ideal for jacket backs and other large embroidery projects.

This design uses the fabric itself as part of the artwork. The intentional open areas create the dark negative space, keeping the embroidery lighter while preserving the detailed sculpted and engraved appearance.

IMPORTANT STITCHING INFORMATION

This version is designed for black or very dark fabric. Do not add a solid black fill behind the embroidery. The open areas are intentional and form part of the finished design.

Use a stable garment or fabric with appropriate stabilizer for a large embroidery design.

Stitching order:

Charcoal first, followed by Tusk / Bone White.

For best results, use the design at the supplied size. Significant resizing is not recommended, as it may affect stitch quality and density.

A test stitch-out is always recommended before embroidering the final garment.

Thread brands may be substituted, but maintain a strong dark-versus-light contrast to preserve the intended sculpted appearance.

Please make sure your embroidery machine and hoop can accommodate the design dimensions before purchasing.

An embroidery machine and appropriate software are required to use these digital files.
