This is a pattern for a jumper worked from the top down and in the round, with a circular yoke and short or elbow length sleeves, and using the stranded colourwork technique.

Doe uses leftover synthetic dyes from a local mill which would otherwise go to waste on locally NZ made commercial yarns.


Please see schematic for all approximate finished sizes. Feel free to make any adjustments, as needed, for best fit.

needles:

4.0mm (us no 6) circular 40in/101cm;

5.0mm (us no 8) circular 40in/101cm;

gauge:

17 sts x 22 rnds = 4in/10cm over single-coloured stockinette on 4.0mm needles

17 sts x 24 rnds = 4in/10cm over stranded stockinette on 5.0mm needles

Some knitters work stranded and single-coloured at different gauges. Change needles, as needed, to keep gauge the same throughout.
