This is a pattern for a cardigan worked from the top down and in the round, with a circular yoke, and using the Fair-Isle colourwork technique.
This pattern is intended for a more experienced knitter or knitters who are comfortable working from and extending chart patterning.

Since the pattern repeat is continuous all over the cardi, some design points are fixed. Please see schematic for all approximate finished sizes.

There is some room to customize, however, though you may have to make adjustments as you work the motif patterning.

Fingering; 100% Shetland; 125yds (115m)/ 25g
approximate yarn amounts:
MC (FC47) - 6 (8, 10, 10) 11, 12, 13 (14, 15, 16, 17) balls
CC1 (36) - 6 (8, 10, 10) 11, 12, 13 (14, 15, 16, 17) balls
CC2 (78) - 1 (1, 1, 2) 2, 2, 3 (3, 4, 4, 4) balls

needles:
2.75mm (us no 2) circular 40in/101cm; DPNs for sleeves
3.25mm (us no 3) circular 40in/101cm; DPNs for sleeve motif
gauge:
26 sts x 34 rnds = 4in/10cm over single-coloured stockinette on 2.75mm needles
26 sts x 32 rnds = 4in/10cm over stranded stockinette on 3.25mm needles
Some knitters work stranded and single-coloured at different gauges. Change needles, as needed, to keep gauge the same throughout.
