- Notes from the Artist: A solitary stance among the vast expanse, its presence commands the eye. The Sentinel seems to be dancing and joyful as it watches over the landscape. I find myself imagining that it hears music only those closest to the earth can discern. Feeling the flow of the gold paint underlay, prepping the image file, and then watching the color unfold across the print brought me back to that moment of discovery.
