BBC Article: Soft skills - read, play & discuss

The BBC produces well-written topical articles, which I often create Padlets out of for use in my sessions. In the Padlet, I’ve included some pre-reading discussion points as well as an interactive and printable crossword vocabulary exercise.

Participants can read the text in 3 different ways, online at the BBC, as a shortened and adapted Word document (complete with vocabulary list), or as a shortened and adapted version, directly on the Padlet. Tip: Having done the Pre-reading Section in session, you could give the participants homework to read the full article on the BBC.

Eric Frazer, author of The Psychology of Top Talent, and assistant professor of psychology at Yale University School of Medicine is quoted in the article. Participants can discuss 3 of the quotes (see Padlet) and then brainstorm 2 questions connected to tips for interviews.
