Tackle Suite for Trumpet Trio by Eddie Lewis

Tackle Suite is a trumpet trio from a suite of suites based on fishing. It is the first in the suite, followed by Bait Suite and then ending with Catch Suite. Each of the fishing suites features a different kind of compositional technique. Tackle Suite uses triad pairs in all three movements. The movements of the suite are relatively short. The suites are novelty compositions, perfect for a light recital.

The movements in Bait Suite are:
1) Mud Minnow
2) Squid
3) Live Shrimp

Bait Suite is perfect for a light recital. The skill level is advanced, maybe early college students or very good high school students.
