10 Carrot Table Runner
Celebrate spring with this cheerful table runner. Large triangle carrot sections are set together with narrow sashing, and topped with foundation-pieced greenery. Vary your vegetables by making creamy parsnips, or red beets! Super simple and quick to stitch with full sized templates and foundations. Bunny approved!
Finished Size of runner is 36” x 19”, but can easily be adjusted by adding or subtracting carrots.
Pattern prints on 5 sheets of letter sized paper. Please make sure to set your printer to print at 100% actual size.
Materials Required: 115 cm (45”) wide
.75 m (¾ yard) of light background
.35 m (3/8 yard) EACH of 3 different oranges
.25 m (¼ yard) of dark green
.5 m (1/2 yard) of light green (includes enough for binding)
Sewing and quilting thread to match
42” x 24” batting
42” x 24” backing
Island Batik fabrics and Aurifil thread used in sample project.
