Let’s take a moment to educate here. Your muscle has a “pillow case” around it called: “FASCIA” It is a tough material that surrounds all the muscles to provide support and reduces friction in movement of the body. It is made mostly of collagen and as I said it is tough. Why is this important? Glad you asked because your fascia restrict the muscle from growing also if it is not stretched, but you say “Jeff I can’t put a balloon inside my muscle to stretch it all day?!” Of course not, so what we use is a method we call “FLUSHING.” If we get enough blood to quickly move into the muscle using 7-8 sets of 10 reps and short rest periods, we can stretch that fascia! The more we do it, the stretchier it gets, the larger the muscle is allowed to grow! Get it? So, we want to get myo-fascial messages to help release and stretch that fascia as well as FLUSH that muscle HARD! We are at WAR with fascia! Make sure to take your pre-workout before this workout and add in beet root powder as well in your intra workout drink! Run this program 4 days a week 2-3 times a year for 6-8 weeks!
