Sheridan Creek Hat - a knitting pattern

Book in hand, she edges closer to water. Sliding down boulders and picking her way carefully she finally reaches the edge of the creek. As the water cascades with soothing sounds into nearby pools she settles herself along the bank and opens her book to a whole new world.

Yarn: Western Sky Knits Merino 17 Worsted, 210 yards/115 grams

Yardage: 120 (140, 180) yards/ 110 (128, 165) m of worsted weight yarn

Gauge: 20 sts and 32 rows in 4”/10 cm in Stockinette on size 7/4.5mm needles

Needles: US 7/ 4.5 mm circular and/or DPNs
