The dragonscale stitch pattern makes for a quick kid or adult accessory in worsted weight yarn.
Charted as well as written instructions are provided. Stitch markers are optional, but strongly recommended.
Thanks to my wonderful testers, and to Kate Atherley for tech editing.
Difficulty: Advanced beginner.
Skills used: Working in the round, increasing and decreasing.
Sizing and gauge
One size: 47 cm / 18.5 in around; 22 cm / 8.5 in high
22 sts x 28 rounds = 10 cm / 4 in square in dragonscale pattern, blocked
You will need:
180 m / 195 yds of worsted weight yarn. Choose a yarn that is soft, non-prickly and not strongly variegated, to show the stitch pattern well.
