The Pray Method

The PRAY Method | FREE Prayer Printable for Kids

Sometimes children want to pray—but simply don't know where to begin. 🤎

The PRAY Method is a simple 2-page Little Roots Bible resource designed to give children an easy framework for talking with God.

Using the acronym PRAY, children will learn:

Tell God what you love about Him and thank Him for who He is and what He has done.

🤎 R — Repent

Talk honestly with God about something you've done wrong and ask for His forgiveness.

🌱 A — Ask

Talk to God about what you need—and pray for the needs of others, too.

✝️ Y — Yield

Trust God with your prayer and ask Him to help you follow His will, even when the answer isn't what you expected.

Your download includes:

• 1-page PRAY Method reference sheet

• 1-page guided prayer worksheet

• Kid-friendly prayer starters

• Space to write or draw prayers

• Luke 11:1 Scripture connection

• Gentle reminders that there isn't one “perfect” way to pray

The PRAY Method isn't a formula or the only way to pray—it's simply a tool to help children know where to begin. Children can write, draw, whisper, speak aloud, or simply talk with God in their own words.
