A FULL CAST FANTASY AUDIO DRAMA

The Fall of Ingway is a studio quality full cast audio drama featuring a 18 powerful voice talents from around the world (Including Olivier Award winner Dan Burton), 1 full hour of original music by award winning British composer Michael Hyman, and 7+ hours of immersive, cinematic sound design by Daniel Bell Productions.

Imagine a story that is more than words, that immerses you—through music, performance, and sound—in the rolling thunder and rain of a storm breaking against stone towers, in the fray of battles where dying horses shriek and spears clatter, in polar ravines where cold wind howls and voices echo against icy walls. And all the while, the actors will pull you into the souls of their characters, accompanied by soaring orchestral themes written for them alone.

This is The Fall of Ingway. This is cinematic audio.

Along with your full cast audio drama, you will also receive a deluxe Ebook of the script, featuring cover art by John Molinero (artist of Torchlight), 3 interior illustrations by Ire Ethereal, decorative chapter pages and scene breaks, and all the production's performance notes, sound effect cues, and music composition instructions, providing an in-depth behind-the-scenes look at the making of The Fall of Ingway.

SUMMARY

“A god with the power to snap his fingers and annihilate us all . . . should take care how he moves his hands.” – The God Foresight.

Ingway is a being of many names: Death God, Reaper, Ferryman, He-Who-Comes-When-The-Last-Sigh-Leaves. He is a figure of terror and mystery, riding through shadows, leading the dead to the halls of judgment. Ominous and cold, even to his fellow gods.

But even a god of death can mourn. When King Gaudrey of Dunhilde—a man whom Ingway loved, a man responsible for preventing countless deaths—passes, his family and kingdom fall into peril. And Ingway lingers, tempted to intervene. To spare. To act.

Goaded on by the Goddess of Mercy, he strides along a knife’s edge between the despair of apathy and the danger of partiality. War looms, and he watches Gaudrey's family brace for a hopeless resistance, beset by the wrath of lesser gods and mortals alike. The God of Death yearns—just this once—to preserve life. To thrust his hand into the gears of the universe and halt their merciless turning.

Heaven trembles, and the world feels her fear, as forces which should be constant . . . falter.

Prepare yourself to feel his pain. Prepare yourself to carry his duty. Prepare yourself for tragedy, love, and hope.

Prepare yourself for The Fall.

STARRING

The soul of The Fall of Ingway is carried by the many voice actors who breathed life into my words. Eighteen talented individuals gave their all to this production. And each of them brought only their best. After auditioning 500 different applicants for this project, I was deeply fortunate to wind up with the talented people listed below. Hailing from Australia, the Netherlands, the UK, Canada, and the USA alike, they are nothing short of incredible.

FEATURING

WITH

MUSIC

Michael Hyman is a brilliant and accomplished composer from the UK who has worked for many different studios as a composer and orchestrator on films and television shows such as  Finding your Feet (dir. Richard Loncraine), Sarkar (music A R Rahman), Hamid (Netflix), Dani’s House (Season 5 BBC), Phonics School (BBC worldwide), and more. His award-winning compositions are known for their grand orchestral sound and emotional themes.

For months, we communicated back and forth as he crafted the soundtrack to The Fall of Ingway. Each piece was lovingly written and tweaked and developed to fit the mood and style needed for each scene in The Fall of Ingway. With 22 tracks and a full hour of music, he created much of the final mood and style of this production.

Sound Design

Outside of myself, the one person most responsible for bringing life to this production is Daniel Bell. Daniel poured countless hours of labor and passion into this work across nearly a year. With custom foley work and skilled manipulations and effects, with a keen ear for detail and a gifted imagination for figuring out what each scene needed even beyond my script and instructions, he truly became a collaborator in the creative process rather than an employee.

The final product of The Fall of Ingway could have been a wildly different thing in the hands of another sound designer. And I am so deeply happy that I had Daniel's skill to guide it. Daniel is a professional sound designer, engineer, and field recorder and founder of Daniel Bell Productions. Learn more about him HERE.

In Parting

I hope reading this has given you an idea of just what this project is. Not just an audiobook. Not just another fantasy story.

The Fall of Ingway is the culmination of so many talents, a synthesis of acting, composing, sound design, writing, and directing that is so much greater than the sum of its parts, a collaborative creation years in the making and unique in the landscape of Indie Fantasy.

It is my deepest hope that this production will inspire those who hear it, not just through the narrative (Which better move you to tears! If you don't cry at least once for Maddi Albregts, I'll question your humanity!) but also through the scope of its production, showcasing what can be accomplished in the world of Indie Publishing.

I once received a review on my work that said, "This set of books left me a better person for my reading!"

And I hope that The Fall of Ingway will earn this type of review as well. I believe it deserves it.

Give it a shot today!
