• Work the basic stitches - Chain, single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet.
• Work in rows.
• Know how to place stitches in the 3rd Loop Only (3LO) and Back Loop Only (BLO) or be willing to learn.

This is NOT a beginner or absolute beginner pattern. This is an Advanced Beginner pattern. Absolute beginners will find this pattern outside of their skill level.

Toddler: 40 inches long, 4 inches wide

Child/Tween: 50 inches long, 4 inches wide

Teen/Adult S: 60 inches long, 6 inches wide

Adult L: 70 inches long, 6 inches wide

*Pattern includes instructions on how to alter both the length and width of this scarf.

YARN REQUIRED

You will need Medium (4) worsted weight wool, acrylic or blended yarn. Medium (4) worsted weight is on the thinner side of Medium, as opposed to Aran which is typically thicker. You will need approximately:

Toddler - 90 g / 198 yds / 3.2 oz

Child/Tween - 110 g / 242 yds / 3.8 oz

Teen/Adult Small - 195 g / 429 yds / 6.9 oz

Adult Large - 230 g / 506 yds / 8.2 oz

If you alter the pattern in any way your yarn usage will be different than listed.

Yarn Used: We Crochet’s Swish Worsted in colorway Forest Heather. This yarn is 100% Fine Superwash Merino Wool, 50 g / 110 yds per skein. The sample of this pattern is the Adult Large size. I used just shy of 5 skeins.
