The Faces We Wear explores the layers of identity we build around ourselves.

Dozens of fragmented faces gather together, each subtly different yet seemingly connected — expressions of the roles, emotions and versions of ourselves we carry through life. Among the monochrome faces, flashes of colour break through the composition, while at its centre sits a vivid pink heart.

Inside it stands a solitary figure.

Small amongst everything surrounding them, yet impossible to overlook.

For me, that figure represents the self beneath all the noise — the part that remains when the expectations, labels and masks are stripped away.

This piece is about remembering that beneath every version of ourselves we've had to become, there is still someone worthy of being known, understood and loved.
