The Distance I’ve Travelled captures a solitary figure standing before a city that seems almost to disappear into the distance. Surrounded by space, shadow and fragments of muted gold, the figure stands quietly between what has been left behind and whatever may still lie ahead.

There is loneliness here, but there is also strength.

The empty space is intentional. It represents the chapters between endings and beginnings — those moments when the past no longer owns us, but the future has not yet fully revealed itself.

This piece is about looking back without needing to return. About recognising the distance between the person you once were and the person standing here now.

Not every journey leaves footprints.

Some leave an entirely different person.
