UK Edition: Supply and Cover Teacher SEND Pages, KS4 and Post-16

A cover folder set for SEND classes. When I am out, the person covering my room needs to know who needs what in about five minutes, not after the lesson has gone wrong.

What's included

• How this class starts and ends: entry routine, where the work is, signal for quiet, calm option, who to call for help, end of lesson routine

• Pupil quick cards: need, please do, please avoid, and one phrase that helps

• Feedback slip for the class teacher: who worked well, any problems, work completed, anything to follow up

• Checklist for keeping the folder current each half term

How I use it

Fill it in once, keep it in the cover folder, and update it after each half term or when a calm plan changes. Copy in calm plans for the pupils who have them. Supply staff tell me the quick cards are the page they actually read.

Fill in by hand. Good for KS2, KS3, KS4 and post 16 classes.

Format: PDF, 3 A4 pages.
