Little Orme Mitts were originally published by Knit Picks in Strands of Colour (2017), using Knit Picks Palette. The palest green used there was Celadon Heather (C3), whereas the palest green in the hat and cowl is Edamame. If making the whole collection, Edamame is recommended as C3 throughout.
All items in the collection are worked in the round. The main stranded colourwork pattern is presented in chart form only. In the mitts pattern it is shown in colour, in the cowl and hat patterns it is in greyscale.
AND US 3 (3.25mm) DPNs or two 24” circular needles for two circulars technique, or one 32” or longer circular needle for Magic Loop technique, or size to obtain gauge
Cowl: 2 x 3.25mm circular needle (or size to obtain gauge), 40cm long for full size cowl. (The 2nd needle is for grafting the ends).
Hat: US2 (2.75mm) circular needle, 30 (40, 40) cm long or two sizes smaller than that to obtain tension
AND US3 (3.25mm) circular needle, 30 (40, 40) cm long AND/or DPNS, or size to obtain tension.
