Chocolate Mint Beanie, Two Color Crochet Beanie Pattern (PDF)

I love mint chocolate. I know it’s not for everyone, it’s a bit like cilantro, you either love it or you hate it. When I put brown and turquoise yarn side by side, it reminded me of mint chocolate right away, and that’s how this beanie got its name.

The Chocolate Mint Beanie starts with a folded ribbed brim worked in back loop single crochet. Then the body is worked in granny stitch clusters, switching colors every round, and the crown is shaped with alternating double crochet and single crochet decrease rounds. Make it in two colors like mine, or in one solid color.

You will need

• About 85 gr of weight #4 acrylic yarn in two colors
• 5 mm (H-8) crochet hook
• Yarn needle, scissors, measuring tape

Skill level: Intermediate. You should be comfortable with granny stitch, back loop only and simple decreases.
