The Leggy Birthday Cake is a Jellycat inspired amigurumi pattern featuring a colorful dessert with legs. It makes a cute bday gift for foodies with a sweet tooth.

This doll is designed with bulky weight 5 chenille velvet yarn for a soft squishy look, and comes out to be similar in size to Jellycat plushes. However, it can also be crocheted with thinner yarn weights, cotton and acrylic fibers, and suitable hook sizes to produce a smaller keychain or bag charm sized plush!

The PDF pattern includes written crochet instructions and step-by-step photo references to guide you through the doll-making process.

MATERIALS

Bulky weight 5 yarn in white, green, yellow, pink, purple, brown (I used Lion Brand Yarn Posh Twist)

5mm crochet hook

9mm plastic safety eyes (x2)

Black thread for sewing details

1 pipe cleaner (preferably white)

FO = fasten off

ch = chain

sl st = slip stitch

sc = single crochet

inc = increase (insert 2 sc in same st)

dec = decrease (sc 2 sts together)

hdc = half double crochet

hdc2tog = hdc 2 sts together (decrease)

FLO = front loops only
