A yoked cowl knit from the top down in 4 colors of chunky yarn with a tall, rolled stockinette collar and a ribbed lower edge. This one will keep you warm in the deepest of winter days.
Colorwork is charted only. A coloring page is included.
Gauge
15 stitches = 4 inches in stranded stockinette (after blocking)
Materials
380 yards of chunky-weight yarn – 240 yards of the main color; 55 yards of C1 (dark brown in sample); 50 yards of C2 (red in sample); 35 yards of C3 (green in sample). Sample was knit in Miss Babs K2 and Malabrigo Chunky (100% merino)
US10.5/6.5mm circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge. You can start on a 24” cable but may want to switch to a longer one as the cowl grows
