Because Apparently I Need a Journal Too
Gratitude Journal for Teen Boys & Young Adult Guys | By Amber King
Good days. Weird days. Days when your brain has 27 tabs open.
This printable gratitude journal gives teen boys and young adult guys a place to capture the good stuff without having to write an essay or deliver an inspirational speech. Think decent conversations, ridiculous jokes, playlists on repeat, small wins and food that deserves five stars.
The prompts are short, the layout is easy to use, and the humour stays light. There is room for real life here: you can appreciate something and still feel tired, annoyed or stressed. This journal does not ask you to pretend every day was amazing.
WHAT YOU GET
Your download is a ZIP containing:
• A 61-page printable journal interior in 8 x 10 inches.
• The same 61-page interior in US Letter (8.5 x 11 inches).
• A complete 62-page 8 x 10 PDF with the colour cover included.
• The colour cover separately as a PDF and PNG.
• A printing-instructions PDF to help you choose a size and get started.
Both interior sizes contain the same content. Choose the size that works for you; you do not need to print both.
INSIDE THE JOURNAL
30 undated daily entries: Each page has a date space, mood check-in, song of the day, one thing you want to do, something that went well, something funny or unexpected, something you appreciate, and a rotating extra prompt. A simple water check finishes the page. Answers can be a few words or a sketch.
4 weekly reflections: Look back at a moment worth replaying, something you handled better, and what you would like more of next week.
12 extra activity pages: Make your current-rotation list, notice the people who get you, collect real evidence of small wins, think about what helps you reset, and plan a manageable next step. Other pages cover accidental comedy, energy and boundaries, time away from screens, your personal soundtrack and things worth keeping.
4 colouring pages: Music, aliens, graffiti and food, with clean black-and-white line art designed for an easy break.
4 creative drawing pages: Design playlist cover art, sketch an alien having an ordinary bad day, make graffiti-style lettering on paper, or invent the menu item you wish existed.
4 notes-and-sketch pages, an opening ownership page, a note from Amber, and a final reflection for your future self round out the 61-page interior.
WHO IT IS FOR
Designed for teen boys and young adult guys, roughly ages 13-24. It suits someone who likes straightforward questions, a bit of dry humour and room to make a journal their own. Interests and answers are open-ended: you do not have to be into sport, gaming or any particular hobby to use it.
USE IT YOUR WAY
There are no preprinted dates. Complete an entry whenever you want, skip a page, draw an answer or return after a break. The interior prints in black and white, with generous writing space. Print the full journal or selected pages and keep them in a binder or have them bound.
