Where Is The Beauty That We Should Desire Him

These days in many churches and fellowships, there seems to be an almost over-emphasis on and even demanding push to make disciples (which seems to turn many non-Christians off) and ministry but very little emphasis on getting to know Christ more intimately and knowing the fellowship of His sufferings.

In Revelation 2:4, the Lord reminds us that loving Him is our FIRST priority; the works (including the "Great Commission," "making disciples" and "soul-winning") will naturally follow; meaning that the Lord is FIRST concerned with our RELATIONSHIP with Him. 

Beauty... is meant to be an inspirational and devotional discussion for the Christian and evangelical for the non-; drawing us to see more of the beauty of the Lord Jesus Christ and His sacrifice, and return us to our First Love, or motivate us to share Him with others from a deeper understanding and relationship with Him.
