From the "Sad Stories," I'm sick to shit. A bit rude, perhaps not very polite 😊, and how can I even say that when I’ve written so many sad songs and told so many sad stories...
Maybe I’m venting about my own sad stories, but also about some from others... Both.
The song is written for a specific person... She never understood the message. She didn’t want to.
So, in the chorus, I politely asked her –
“Please let me go home and wash myself... and take some time to collect my thoughts... in peace and quiet.”
I don’t want to hear any crap – I’ve had enough of my own stories.
