Viva Survivors Select 13

Viva Survivors Select is a series of curated collections of the best of the Viva Survivors daily blog, a monthly zine of viva help on a variety of topics and themes taken from almost a decade of daily posts.

Viva Survivors Select 13 is the Personal Issue. I've curated twenty posts that explore all the ways that the viva is a really personal experience. The viva has to be, actually, reflecting how unique and individual a candidate's PhD journey can be. I've also added two new pages of writing: a reflection on what someone might choose to wear to their viva and a short confidence building exercise that reflects on your proudest moments.

All of the art for this issue is made by me too - I had a lot of fun sketching, doodling and polishing all of the illustrations and the covers!
