WHAT TO EXPECT
Gravity Surfing Workshop
Saturday 24th Oct 2026 10am-2.30pm
Join us for a 4 hour deep dive into handstands and Forrest-Inspired Yoga.
We’ll spend the first half exploring handstand mechanics (10am - 12pm) building confidence through mobility drills, learning the science on your bodies biomechanics, alongside alignment work and playful inversions.
This will then lead into a grounding and integral Forrest-inspired Yoga workshop (12.30pm - 2.30pm) where you’ll be encouraged to fire up your breath, move with intention and explore gravity surfing arm balances. Expect a deeper, spirit led practice where you’ll be asked to connect with your warrior's heart.
By the end of the two-part workshop, you’ll leave with a better understanding of inversions, practical tools to continue your handstand and yoga practice and feel both challenged and restored.
Expect: Inversions, the infamous Forrest-abs, activation and breathwork 🌓

Frequently Asked Questions
When should I arrive?
Please arrive approximately 15 minutes before the allocated start time (any earlier and the doors will not yet be open). Doors will close promptly at the start time.
If I'm a beginner, can I still join?
Mindset is everything. Come ready to be challenged! We’ve structured these workshops to help you build strength, stability and flexibility adaptable for all. Modifications and options will be provided at every workshop.
What are the facilities like?
The workshops will be held in Ruddington Village Hall, with access to toilets.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable gym or yoga attire as there will be lots of movement involved! Layering your clothing is a good idea to be able to take off a layer during physical practice and to have a layer to put back on during meditation.
What do I need to bring with me?
Please bring yourself, a yoga mat, towel and a bottle of water! All props will be provided, but you can bring your own if you prefer.
I have an injury, can I still attend?
Absolutely, we will provide adaptations where needed to consider all students. A pre-screening will be done on injuries; if you’re unsure then contact Carly or Chloe prior to booking.
Why is the workshop 4 hours long?
You’re getting expertise from two teachers in different fields, and therefore expanding your knowledge and skill set vastly. 4 hours is needed to cover topics in depth. Don’t worry, there will be a short lunch break in-between where we can fuel and recharge. Additionally, you can take breaks as and when needed!
What if I can no longer attend?
There is a 48 hour cancellation policy - please contact Carly or Chloe in the event of a cancellation.
