Rounding Number Chain Game
Rounding Number Chain Game | Nearest 10, 100, 1,000 & 100,000
Designed to give students repeated practice with rounding numbers while encouraging listening, recall, comprehension, and math fact fluency.
Students work together to create a continuous chain of questions and answers. One student begins by reading the Start Card aloud. The student holding the matching answer card responds:
“I have [number]! Who has [number] rounded to the nearest hundred?”
The next student finds the corresponding answer on their card and continues the chain. Students keep listening, thinking, and responding until every card has been used and the chain reaches the final answer.
