Back In The City - eBook

Martin Stern is an Australian author and poet whose writing captures everyday life and human emotion from a uniquely Australian viewpoint. Since starting in 2023, he has written 140 poems exploring authentic themes with therapeutic tones, published in four booklets during 2025.

In 2025, Stern started his first novel, "Fragments of Harry," which sensitively portrays a 65-year-old man's experience with early-onset dementia. He works part-time in aged care in Brisbane and runs a graphic design business, Dare to Dream Creative.



Born in Sydney and later living in rural Queensland before returning to Brisbane, Stern’s journey informs his writing by blending city and country perspectives. His creative work engages readers through its compassion, insight, and observant storytelling, positioning him as a notable voice in Australian literature.
