“Is Heaven still above?” is a line from one of my favorite songs, Slanted Floor by Morten Harket, and it’s a question I sometimes ask myself these days with all that is going on in the world. Is Heaven still above Hat features pretty cables on a purl background. It comes in three sizes and offers two crown options per size so you always get a nice looking crown for your hat. Materials • Madelinetosh Tosh DK (205 m (224 yd) / 110 g (3.9 oz), 100 % merino), 1 (2, 2) skeins in Smokestack (hat in size S) or Saffron (hat in size M) • Or DK weight yarn of your choice • Knitting needles for your favorite method for knitting in the round that give YOU the required gauge; a good starting point for swatching for a knitter with average tension is 3.5 - 4 mm (US 4 - 6) • Stitch markers • Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Gauge: 31 sts and 34 rnds = 10 cm (4”) in pattern after blocking.
