- Notes from the Artist: This digital artwork of aircraft reflects my passion for aviation, photography, and art. Over seven years, I photographed 34 WWII aircraft at various locations, aiming to create a consistent visual style across the collection. By digitally transforming the actual photographs of the T-6 Texan and the P-47 Thunderbolt, I maintained precise control over scale, perspective, and distortion — elements often altered in traditional artistic renditions. Presenting the aircraft against a clean, minimalist background highlights its elegance and artistry, free from the distractions of airport settings. I titled each aircraft with its first flight date for historical purposes.
